Problem number 14. Julie and Angela played King Ball, a ball game. Each goal in the game earns 2 points. Julie scored 5 goals and Angela scored 9 goals.  How many more points than Julie did Angela earn? 4, 6, 8, 10, or 12. The number of goals is not the same as the number of points, so we are going to multiply  both numbers by 2 and then subtract. So 5 times 2 is 10, so Julie got 10 points and Angela got 9 times 2, which is, and Angela got 18 points.  18 minus 10 is 8, so our answer is C, 8. So Angela got 8 more points than Julie.
