Problem number 17. Arjun has six identical triangles like this. Which of the following pictures can he make?  Each of these pictures is made up of six triangles that have the same pattern. So we should just pick one of these triangles in each piece and see if it's  the same as the piece that Arjun has. So this shape is a triangle. I'm going to cover up all the extra triangles in each answer choice, leaving just the one on the top.  Then we can easily compare which one is the right one. Let's cover those up. What we're looking for is an X with a line under it and then this caret mark. That is  what we have in A. X, line, caret mark. In B we have some lines next to the X. In C we don't have the line. In D the bottom shape is a line. And in E there's an X  but it looks rather different from the original one. So the answer is A.
