Question number four, we are asked to compute the cube root of a number and just about the only difficulty in this question is to decide exactly what it is that we're asked to consider. And so what we have is 3 with exponent 3 and then that exponent has an exponent. So the number we're looking at is 3 to the power 27, not 3 to the third power and then cubed which would be 3 to the 9th. So now we can take the cube root. The cube root of 3 to the 27 is 3 to the power 9 and that does not appear as our answer but we can rewrite 9 as 3 squared in the following way, 3 to the power 3 and the exponent as a power 2 and that's answer C.
