And the second M will be the same color as the first M because they are the same letter. The A and the T also have duplicates so they are also the same color. Then we have I, C, and S. So now we see we have 1, 2, 3, 4, 5. So these three are repeats. And then we have 6, 7, 8. There are eight colors in total which means our answer is B.
