Problem number six. Mike and Jake were playing darts. Each one threw three darts. See the picture. Who won and how many points more than his opponent did he score? The way to read the dart boards is whatever the dart lands on is how many points you get. So Mike got 7, 35, and 25. If we add all these together the total is 67. So Mike scored 67 points. Now on to Jake. Here is what Jake scored. He got 3, 15, and 45. So he got 3, 15, and 45. And if we add all that together we see that that is 63. So Jake scored 63 points. So Mike won. But now we need to figure out by how many points. I'm going to subtract to find the difference. 67 minus 63 is 4. Which means Mike won by 4 points. Which means our answer is E.
Video Summary
In a dart game between Mike and Jake, each threw three darts. Mike scored 67 points in total, while Jake scored 63 points. Therefore, Mike won the game by a margin of 4 points, answering the question correctly as option E.
