That means three balloons cost the same as one balloon plus twelve cents.  So this balloon is the same as this balloon and then these balloons are the same as twelve cents.  So two balloons cost twelve cents and twelve divided by two is six so each balloon is worth six which means one balloon costs six cents which means our answer is B, six.
