Problem number 15. A rectangular prism is made of four pieces as shown. Each piece consists of four cubes and is a single color.  What is the shape of the white piece? A, B, C, D, or E.  We are going to look at this light gray one and then this slightly darker one, because we can already see where all the cubes are. Starting with the light gray one, and then  moving on to the darker one. And now we will move on to the darkest one. We can see three of the cubes, which means that the last one must be attached to the  corner here, like this. If we put all these together, we see that we would have space for the white one to resemble this, because of the cube here and the cube  here. So it has to point forwards and backwards and cannot be sticking out, which means our answer is D.
