Problem number 11, 18 cubes are colored white, gray, or black and there are ranges shown. The figures on the right show the white and the black parts. Which of the following is the gray part? A, B, C, D, or E? Now we are going to count to see how many cubes we have. So we have 1, 2, 3, 4 white cubes, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7 black cubes. So 4 plus 7 equals 11. So now we just need to find 7 more. So if we look at A we have 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, so that's not it. If we look at B we have 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, which is not it. If we look at C we have 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, which is not it. If we look at D we have 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, which is not it. And then we have E which is 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7. So our answer is E. This is the only one made up of 7 cubes.
Video Summary
The problem involves identifying the gray cubes among 18 total cubes, of which 4 are white and 7 are black, leaving 7 as gray. After counting, options A, B, C, and D all have fewer than 7 cubes each. Option E, however, consists of exactly 7 cubes, indicating that option E correctly represents the gray part.
