Problem number 8. John builds the tower shown. What will he see if he looks at his tower from above? A, B, C, D, or E.  If we picture his tower from above, we see that he has these two smaller blocks. We will not be able to see those because this panel on top is too large.  On top it would look like it would be a small square, a medium square, and a large square.  Looking at these answers, we see that only C is the same, which means our answer must be C.  Although B does have the same number of squares, we see that the second square, instead of being medium, is still very small.
