Our hints are, there are no ducks on Mike's card, Kyra's card has the sun on it, there are exactly 2 living creatures on Paulo's card, Lexi's card has a dog on it, there are kangaroos on Heather's card. Which card did Mike get? A, B, C, D, or E? In this type of problem, sometimes it's easier if you look at the hints from bottom to top. So here it says that there are kangaroos on Heather's card. B is the only card that has kangaroos on it, so that must be her card. It says Lexi's card has a dog on it. The only one card has a dog on it, which means this must be Lexi's. It says there are exactly 2 living creatures on Paulo's card. C is the only one with exactly 2 living creatures, other than Heather's. So C must be Paulo's card. So Kyra's card has the sun on it. I see the last 2 both have the sun on it. But then it says there are no ducks on Mike's card, which means D must be Kyra's card, and A must be Mike's. Which means our answer is A.
