I'm going to copy the shapes and color them so we can work with them a little bit more easily. Piece C looks like it should go in the corner, so let's put it there. We don't know whether we need to rotate the pieces. But we can try taking this upright piece, piece D, and placing it in the vertical part of the puzzle. Now we take piece B and cover the rest of the upper part. This leaves us the horizontal part here. Remember, piece E has a square at the end, and piece A has two triangles. So to cover the left end of it, we will need to use piece E. This just leaves piece A, and we'll place that on the part with the dot. So piece A is the one that will go where the dot is.
