Meyer looks at them and says, one of you is right and each of the rest of you has 4 cells correct. Which is the correct answer?  Comparing the cells, we see that this one is shaded in all the answers. This one is shaded in all the answers.  Let's compare the ones that are left. Four of them have this cell shaded.  You can also see that two of them have this cell shaded. This leaves answers A, B, C, and D having one cell different than the grid in E,  which means that the grid in E is the correct answer, and each one of the other ones, as you can see, has four correct and one different.
