First, let's draw the garage doors as though they were closed.  Next, let's draw a rectangle in the way that we see, which will look like so. All we need to do is to cover up the one half on the left side and see what we get.  When we do this, we see the shape that we are left with. And our answer will be C, a trapezoid.
