We have 2 white bricks and 4 gray bricks.  In this problem, we can use an elimination by seeing which of these solid shapes match up with the corresponding brick count.  First, we can look at how many white bricks there are in each one. We see that A, B, C, and E all have 3 white bricks, whereas D has 2 white bricks.  On the other hand, A, B, C, and E all have 3 gray bricks, whereas D has 4 gray bricks.
