Alright, first thing to note is that Anna's shape, shown on the right, consists of these  two outer three blocks, so this one over here, and this one over here, connected to the inner three block, this one in the center, by their middle cubes.  So this middle cube connects to this block, and this middle cube connects to the center block again.  So this is going to immediately eliminate A, which has this edge block connected to this edge block, and then B, which again edge to edge, and then E, which also has this edge  to this edge. So now we only have C and D remaining. Then we also see that these outer three blocks are perpendicular to each other, so this block is perpendicular to this block.  And D, these two are parallel, so that D is also eliminated. And of course, the answer by elimination must then be C.
