Welcome to the Math Kangaroo Solutions video library for the 2022 Math Kangaroo Levels 5-6 competition.  My name is Anurag Madhubushi, and I will be presenting the solutions for the following problems.  Before we get started, I'd like to briefly introduce myself and then describe how the solutions for this video library have been recorded.  I'm currently a college student, but I've participated in the Math Kangaroo competition ever since I was in kindergarten.  I hope that the intuition and the skills that I learned from competing can be passed on to everyone who watches this video library. The format for this library is as follows.  First, I'll read each question, and then I'll pause for about five seconds to give you all a chance to solve the questions on your own. Then we'll jump into the guided solution.  As always, it's important to carefully listen to my reading of the problem and also read it once on your own to ensure that you understand exactly what the question is asking you for.  After this, I'll provide my initial thoughts and then take you through a step-by-step process so that you can reach the solution.  I hope everyone watching this finds it useful, and my best wishes to all of you on your future Math Kangaroo journeys.
