He has drawn the figures in some of the boxes already. Which figures should he draw in the box in the middle of the bottom row? Let's start off with drawing the pyramid with the shapes that we know. Now we can transfer up the shapes on the bottom up top. So we'll transfer this circle and then the circle in the square. And with this we know that the top box we can remove two circles in one square since that is what we started with. This leaves us with two circles and two triangles. Now we need to recognize whatever is in the bottom box will end up going in both the boxes above. So it will be doubled when it gets to the very top box. So since there are two circles and two triangles if we started off with one circle and one triangle in the middle like so we could transfer them up to both boxes above and then make it into the very top box. This will give us our answer which will be D.
