Question 23. There are two machines. Machine R rotates the paper 90 degrees clockwise. Machine S stamps the paper with a clover. In which order were the machines used to create the image shown?  Let's start off working backwards with the shape that we know. We have a clover that is upside down and then a square marked on our sheet in the bottom right corner.  We know that machine S only stamps the clover face up. So let's get the clover face up.  To do this we would have to have rotate, rotate, and now the clover would be face up so we could stamp and since we started with the little square in the bottom left we would rotate one more time.  This would give us our solution, working from the beginning to the end now, RSRR which is our solution B.
