He places this box on the ground or on top of another box. Which of the following stacks could he not build? To solve this problem, we should attempt to recreate each of the  five stacks shown in the answer choices. Notice when we attempt to do so, we cannot construct  the stack in answer choice C, as it requires us to move box B before box D, which we cannot do.
