Now, let's look at the box in the second picture that only has a 3 remaining. Out of our original remaining boxes, only box C has a 3, which means that this box must be box C. Now, we look at the box with a 4 remaining. Out of our two original boxes left, only box D has a 4, which means that this box must be box D, which leaves the last box, the one marked with an X, to be box E.
