Biel finished sixth, just behind Ernest. Fatima finished between Aria and Ernest.  Diana overtook Charles right before the finish line. Who won the race? Pause if you want to try and solve it. Okay, so we can just try to figure out what the numbers are here.  So let's number them one, two, three, four, five, and six.  And we know Biel finished sixth, so we can write B over here, right behind Ernest. So E is in fifth place. Aria finished in third, right over there.  Then Fatima finished between Aria and Ernest, so the only number between three and five is four, so Fatima finished fourth.  And that leaves Diana and Charles. And we know Diana overtook Charles right before the finish line. So that means that she beat Charles.  Now, the only way she could have beaten Charles is if she was in first place and Charles was in second place which means that Diana is the one who won the race. That's option C.  So the answer to number nine is C.
