Question 1. Sanath paddled around five buoys as shown. Around which of the buoys did Sanath paddle in a clockwise direction?  Take a closer look at the picture with the buoys and the boat, and we have to recognize that a clock in a clockwise manner is how these arrows show.  So following the arrows of Sanath's path, we can mark out which direction he traveled around each of the buoys.  For the first one he traveled like so, the second one like so, third one, fourth, and fifth.  Now all we have to do is mark which of these matches with how we have clockwise set up. And we notice that buoy 2, 3, and 5 match the clock. So our answer will be E, 2, 3, and 5.
