What is the length of a single supermarket cart? So first we can notice that if we want to go from 10 carts to 4 carts by removing the carts one at a time, well that means that we need to remove 6 carts and we also need to remove 168 minus 108 equals 60 centimeters. That means that each time we remove one cart we decrease the length of the whole section of carts by 10 centimeters. In that case when we're going from 4 carts down to 1 cart because that's the final number that we want to find out, we have to remove 3 carts and we also have to remove 30 centimeters. So that means the length of 1 cart will be equal to 108 which is the length of 4 carts minus 30 which is equal to 78 centimeters and so the answer is c 78 centimeters.
