Video Summary
Problem number 10. Four seats in a row are numbered 1-4 from left to right. Andy, Booty, Citra, and Deera each sit in one seat. The following conditions apply. Andy is not in seat 1. Booty sits immediately to the right of Andy. Deera is not at either end. Citra is not in seat 3. In what order from left to right do they sit? Let's list out all the possibilities, starting with Andy. We know that Andy is not in seat 1, so this first one is impossible. Now let's look at the second sentence. Booty sits immediately to the right of Andy. In these first two cases, this is possible, but in this last case it's not because there's no seats to the right of Andy. Now let's look at the third sentence. Deera is not at either end. In the first case, Deera has to be at an end, which must mean that this is impossible, and must mean that this is the only possible remaining case. Deera is in the second seat. This leaves only one possible seat for Citra in the first seat, so the answer is C, Citra, Deera, Andy, Booty.
