Welcome to Math Kangaroo, the annual International Olympiad in Mathematics!

The WWES PTA has signed up to be an official Math Kangaroo Center to host the competition for our students this year.  The competition will be held after school in the cafeteria from 4:30pm – 5:45pm on March 20, 2025.  Please note that there is a special invitation code you will need to register; the code was shared as part of our PTA weekly emails.

Unlike the Spelling Bee, the Math Olympiad is an individual test based on grade level that students will take on paper for 75 minutes.  Upon completion, all tests will be submitted to the national offices for scoring and then we will be notified of the students local, state, national and international ranks.

There is no registration cancelation or a refund offered after the registration. Math Kangaroo offers financial assistance to families in hardship; please contact info@mathkangaroo.org to ask for assistance and provide appropriate proof of hardship, or reach out to the PTA for assistance.

We can work with Math Kangaroo to honor special accommodations with the proof provided for such need(s).
