Navigating Math Kangaroo is recommended for students 7-8-9 years old or in grades: 3 or 4.

We have a limited number of spots available for the class.
Registration ends when the spots are filled.

Five meetings, two-hour classes, 5 times a week, 10 hours total

Class format (tentative): 40 min interactive lesson - 5 min break - 40 min interactive lesson - 5 min break - 30 min games.

This class is an interactive class in which the Math Kangaroo instructor incorporates engagement triggers to have students participate in an activity.


Class Information:

• Students with math competition experience or who are interested in competiting at a high level in Math Kangaroo are invited to join the Navigating Course.
• This course draws on problems from the Level 3-4 competitions, and assumes students have some familiarity with problem solving strategies.
• This course is intense and fast paced, and includes more advanced problems than set A, although taking set A classes is not a prerequisite.
• Homework for this course will be problems very similar to those seen in class to reinforce the use of the strategies taught each week.
• This class is planned to meet 5 times for 2 hours each.
• The class size: 12 students
