This private IN-PERSON session of Math Kangaroo is ONLY for students who attend STARBUCK IB K-8 School (a Title 1 school in RUSD, Racine, Wisconsin), (with a reduced regular registration fee through Dec. 31st due to the school's Title 1 status, though the late registration fee is not reduced). The Private Invitation code will be provided only to interested Starbuck students, by their math teacher / or main office.
[There is a separate listing for another private session (Session 2) that non-Starbuck siblings and alumni can use to register at the regular fee.]Students will meet at school by 4:00 (at the latest) to get ready and go through the instructions for the contest. The contest itself will begin at 4:15.
About Math Kangaroo:Math Kangaroo is an annual international mathematics competition. This center will host the competition in the classroom.
Who Can Register?Students in grades K-12* who reside in the same state as the center's address.* K students take grade 1 test; must know how to read and work independently

Math Kangaroo encourages teachers and PTA parents to introduce the competition to schools.You can ask a school administrator to host the Math Kangaroo competition by sharing the official invitation letter.
Math Kangaroo honors special accommodation requests when indicated on the registration page. Parents will be contacted in February to provide any necessary proof of an Individualized Education Program (IEP).
