This webinar is a great way to learn more about Math Kangaroo problems and optimal ways to approach them.
This webinar was designed for grades 3 and 4. 

Topics Covered:

1. Making a list to keep track of the process of solving.
2. Familiarize yourself with Math Kangaroo-specific language.
3. Spatial Thinking: MK signature "Painted Cube Problems."
 
Webinar Presenter: Keiko Charif is a California Public School teacher veteran with 17 years of experience. For the last two years, Keiko served as a Math Kangaroo program manager at Northwood Elementry. Several of her students are among top 20 and top 3 national and state Math Kangaroo winners. Keiko's goal is to train students to apply math problem-solving skills in real-life situations in preparation for college and 21st-century career readiness. 

Webinar Contributor: Maya Viswanathan - Math Kangaroo gold medalist - each year receives a perfect score on Math Kangaroo test, participant since 4th grade. She volunteers as a TA for Math Kangaroo classes. Maya is a sophomore at University Laboratory High School who likes discrete math and is already in Calculus III. Maya lives in Champaign, IL.
